APEX
Using Arthur Jafa's APEX as a reference point, this project was to create a video assembled from images that has it's own "affective proximities". The idea is to build a sense of motion that never crescendos, but still maintains a sense of momentum. I wanted to connect his use of syncing video and audio, with the trend of liminal spaces and eerie photography.
SHEEPLE
The "Sheeple" project draws inspiration from Dave Dees, a troubled man who is known for creating very unhinged magazine covers that he calls "Sheeple Magazine". The goal was to use his format as a base, but use my own knowledge to create some sort of crazy-conspiracist magazine cover.
